Aparelle By Ayesh presents ‘Kintsukuroi’. Kintsukuroi is a womenswear spring/summer collection portraying the powerful fusion of traditional Japanese culture and modern day wardrobe staple - denim. Kintsukuroi is the Japanese term for golden joinery and refers to the art of restoring broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer gold. This collection makes use of various contemporary Japanese crafts and is rich in texture whilst remaining sustainable and promoting low wastage.
